Predicting The Madness

So I came up with the bright idea of trying to pick all 65 NCAA tournament teams and what sites they would be placed in, just to see if I could do at least half as well as the committe does, in 1/5 of the time. My goal was to sit down and crank it out between 5 pm Saturday and 5 pm Selection Sunday.

Then I found myself sitting on the casino floor at Bally’s Atlantic City Saturday night…and Sunday morning…and Sunday afternoon.

Now I’m on a train to Philadelphia at 6:30 EDT, with no access to the Selection Show. It’s available to watch online, but because I have the first ever laptop, it will not load. At all.

Anyway, to meet you halfway, I at least tried to see if I could pick the top 4 seeds in each region, which I scribbled on a piece of paper in the Atlantic City Rail Station. I would try to place them into subregionals, but since the show has started, I’d rather not risk seeing who’s been placed into what region by now (it’s now 6:08pm  EDT)).

Anyway, here goes nothing.

(I’m going to look back on this post and laugh one day. Or cry. Or just be ashmed)

#1:  Louisville, UNC, Pittsburgh, Memphis
#2: UConn, Oklahoma, Michigan State, Duke
#3: Wake Forest, Gonzaga, Washington, Kansas
#4: Syracuse, Missouri, Clemson, Villanova

OK, my laptop is cooperating. I think. Time to watch the show!
